Aodán Feeney

Aodán Feeney (b.1986) is an emerging self-taught figurative painter from Galway. His work evokes a sense of introspection and emotional intensity.

He was recently awarded an Arts Council Agility Award (2023), providing him with dedicated time to focus on developing a new body of work.

In addition to this, Aodán was recently shortlisted for the prestigious Zurich Portrait Prize 2022, as well as exhibiting his works in the RHA Annual Exhibition, Outset Gallery, Courthouse Gallery and various other group exhibitions throughout the country.

Currently residing and working in Galway, Aodán continues to delve into the realms of the human experience through his captivating brushstrokes and compelling compositions. His dedication to his craft and his commitment to honing his skills shine through in every piece he creates.
