William Gilchrist

Will Gilchrist is a Scottish fine artist and sculptor. He has lived and worked in Ireland since 1988 and was granted full artist status in 1994. He has exhibited extensively around Ireland and the UK, worked in Russia and the US, and concluded several public art commissions.

Gilchrist says of his art: “The work that I do stems from a somewhat biographical pretext. It has been observed and then recalled; a still mix of metaphor and memoir you might well say, but really it's a reflection on existence at any given time."
