Lesley Cox

Lesley Cox was born in Co. Dublin and has been living in West Cork for 20 years. She holds a first class BA Hons Degree in Visual Art from Sherkin Island, TU Dublin and her Masters in Art and Process Degree is from MTU Crawford College of Art and Design. 

Lesley’s work is held in private collections in Ireland, Europe and USA and Australia. She has exhibited extensively throughout Ireland and the UK in solo and group exhibitions.

Working from her studio, surrounded by the West Cork countryside and coast has been her inspiration to create textured, colourful landscapes. Using a palette knife, she layers oil paint and scrapes back to reveal hidden details.
